What changes in the new plan
The estimate considers 5- versus 6-inch gutter, 2-by-3 versus 3-by-4 downspouts, long runs, valleys, outlet quantity, discharge points, guard options, and physical color samples. Six-inch aluminum with 3-by-4 downspouts is the normal residential recommendation.
Removal can reveal hidden fascia damage

Gutter replacement questions
Do all gutters have to be replaced at once?
No. Partial replacement can work when the remaining sections are sound and the new work can connect and discharge properly. Mac also considers whether the color and profile difference will be acceptable.
Will you copy the existing downspout locations?
Only if they still make sense. Mac reviews the roof concentration and ground discharge path, then adjusts locations when the old layout contributed to the problem.
